The skiing area Klausberg is only 150m from our house and offers 25 km slopes for beginners, advanced and pros.
Particularly the large fun park delight all viewers and also those who want to try it yourself. The snow park, the very cool kids club and the 6 km long run offer varied Snow fun for everyone.
The skiing area Speikboden is also only 10 minutes by car and is also easily reachable by skibus.

3 great ski areas near the apartment Zimmerhofer in South Tirol
- The Klausberg with the new Kristallalm is the ski resort here in South Tyrol. Fantastically beautiful panorama of over 80 three-thousand. - Kronplatz (25 minutes by car ) offers fourteen modern cable cars, eight chairlifts and eight ski lifts take you up on three sides of the wide mostly treeless summit of the Plan de Corones. The 30 lifts of Plan de Corones, thanks to the large transport capacity of more than 56,050 people per hour at full capacity only rarely, so there is hardly any waiting time on the Kronplatz. The Kronplatz ski resort offers a total of more than 90 km of perfectly groomed pistes.
- A special ski experience in the heart of the Dolomites, is the famoes Sella Ronda (40 minute drive), thats needs to be done once. Countless km runs in a day and a breathtaking natural spectacle awaits you.

There is plenty of snow in Ahrntal – and with the wonderful mountains it’s the ideal place to do skitours or snowshoing. There are lots of tours for beginners and pros. The breathtaking outlook will make your heart skip a beat. On the road, you can stop by in one of the many huts and warm up a bit with a delicious hot drink.

Rapid Ride on two Runners
In the skiing areas Klausberg and Speikboden there are 4 sled runs, on of them is longest sled run in all South Tyrol (Speikboden – Luttach, 10 km). The cable cars bring you to the starting points the fastest way possible. Hikers can also use the beautiful weather to go up to the starting points.
