Castle Taufers

waterfalls in Rein and Flyline

An impressive natural spectacle which Reinbach waterfalls are near Campo Tures. This huge mass of water roar of three waterfalls in the depths - a larger and more powerful than the other.
Walk to the amazing Reinbach - waterfalls and enjoy a unique ride baack with the fly-line. That's fun - not only for children!

Holy Spirit Chapel

Heilig Geist (meaning Holy Spirit) is a dignified and sacred place, through history and the faith and dedication of many generations. Nobody knows exactly when the first chapel was built for the many travelers who used the Krimmler Tauern as a crossing into Pingzau and Salzburg.

The Minerals museum

Minerals enthusiasts can enjoy 300 m² of crystals, minerals, and gemstones– from quartz to emeralds in Steinhaus/Cadipietra.

Copper mine and mining museum

At the copper mine in Prettau you can learn about the story of copper mining. Equipped with a helmet, a miner’s lamp and a rain jacket, you will ride the mine railroad deep into the mine and its past!
In Steinhaus you'll find the mining museum Kornkasten, that shows the history of mining in Ahrntal.

Museum Marantha in Luttach

In this museum you will learn all about the development of wood carving in history.
Traditional craftmanship meets modern sculpture – the very essence of South Tyrol, carved in wood!
